Bring us your old Christmas Lights! 

 

Thank you to everyone who dropped off their Christmas lights! Be on the look out for drop off information for the 2024 season.

We are offering our community a way to give their old lights a new life and keep them out of the landfill! We will have bins set up in the lobby of the C.L. Simon Rec. Center & Judy B. McDonald Public Library starting the week after Thanksgiving until January 11th. Lights can be dropped off during their business hours. Once the season is over, STS Recycling will pick them up and recycle them!

What will be accepted:

• String lights with mini bulbs 

​

What we will not accept:

• No string lights with large bulbs  

• No shaped lights 

• No rope lights 

• No lawn ornaments

Please adhere to what will be accepted and what will not be accepted in order for Keep Nacogdoches Beautiful to continue offering this program for free to the community in the future.
