Fall Sweep/Community Cleanup Challenge - October 17, 2026 | 8-11 a.m.
Join Keep Nacogdoches Beautiful for the Citywide Cleanup Challenge; an event to better your community! We are asking for volunteers to commit to spending just one hour picking up litter in locations KNB has designated as problem areas in the community.
How to get involved

On October 17, come to the Nacogdoches Chamber of Commerce (2516 North Street) between 8-11 a.m. to pick up trash bags and cleanup supplies.

KNB volunteers will assign you or your group a cleanup site, unless you have a place of need in mind, and you will pick up litter for one hour.

Participants who take a before and after picture will earn a special prize of appreciation!
Where to find litter

Look for litter in your neighborhood, parks, schools, walking paths, right of ways, parking lots or creeks.

Safety first! Never put yourself in harm's way to pick up trash. Never trespass to pick up trash. Always be aware of your surroundings.
Participants can bring their full litter bags back to the Chamber or can leave them at their site for a volunteer to dispose of. Please finish your cleaning efforts by noon.
