Texas Arbor Day
In the south, the best time to plant trees is in the fall! This is due to our longer warm months and milder winters. When you plant in the fall, this allows time for the root systems to establish before our summer heat comes. Texas Arbor Day is the first Friday every November and is the kick off to put trees in the ground!
To celebrate, we are giving away trees to our community! We will be set up at the Chamber along with our Garden Capital of Texas Commitee, giving away free native trees.
