I am a junior at Stephen F. Austin State University earning a bachelor's degree in marketing. One of my favorites things about being an SFA student is that I have the privilege to pursue a major I love. My ultimate goal is to use my passion to help other people and my education to promote non-profit organizations.
I am from Denton, TX, just north of Dallas. I have visited Nacogdoches regularly since I was two years old – Nacogdoches has been my second home since my grandparents moved to town from Houston in 1985.
Being an avid outdoors man, I love the pine trees and small lakes. Some of my favorite hobbies are fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, and photography. When I'm not studying, you can find me outdoors, catching Largemouth bass, or behind the camera, taking photos.
In the past semester, I launched a small photography business, Light to Life. The opportunity to combine my faith and my passion is what led me to start a photography business. My goal is to share with others the gospel, weather that means just through the photos I take or conversation we have. As a college student, I could not think of any better way to pursue the things I love.
I have a huge heart for giving back to the community – especially one I
cherish. Volunteering with Keep Nacogdoches Beautiful is an amazing way for me to be involved in giving back to this city and community that I love.
