KNB 2019 Social Media Intern

My name is Alyssa Faykus and I am the Keep Nacogdoches Beautiful intern for 2019! I have been interning for KNB since August. I am a senior mass communications major at SFA with a concentration in journalism and advertising.

I am from Brenham, TX, home of Blue Bell Ice Cream. I loved growing up in a small town and Nacogdoches felt like home the moment I got here.

In my spare time you can find me watching a lot of TV or outdoors walking and taking photos. Trees and flowers are a big part of my life, which is why I love interning for a non-profit that advocates beautification and less litter in our public spaces.
