I am 28 years old, born and raised way out in Odessa, TX where I attended Permian High School and ran track. I am currently the Community Liaison for Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation. Through my community relations outreach, I became involved with the Parks Master Planning Committee and joined the board of directors of Keep Nacogdoches Beautiful.
I attended Odessa College and Tarleton State University in Stephenville, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Marketing. I love the outdoors, plants, animals and just being active! In turn, I equally can’t stand litter and lack of respect for the environment.
I worked as a Marketer in the Healthcare industry in the Ft. Worth Area for 2 years before craving the country again. I moved to Crockett and worked as an Environmental officer and Community Service Supervision Agent for the City of Crockett and Houston County. I kicked up Keep Crockett Beautiful and lead countless clean ups, beautification projects, and even obtained a few small grants for local projects. I loved the small town of Crockett and it’s wonderful people for 3 years.
It was through my adventures with friends to the beautiful and historic Nacogdoches for its festivals and interesting venues that I met my fiance, Greg Phillips. We are engaged to be married early this May.
I’m looking forward to an active and involved life in my new home of the oldest town in Texas!
